Sharon L Hays

Sharon L Hays is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the scientific and technological sectors. Currently serving as Chief Innovation Officer at Astrion since September 2023, Hays previously held the position of Chief Research Officer at NobleReach Foundation from July 2022 to September 2023. Hays was also Chief Technology Officer at LMI and played a key role in managing a $100M+ business unit in the civilian government sector, overseeing the High Performance Computing Center of Excellence at CSRA Inc. from 2009 to 2018. In previous roles, Hays contributed to science and engineering strategy at Computer Sciences Corporation and served as Associate Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Hays holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Stanford University School of Medicine and a B.A. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
