Monica Traupmann

Monica Traupmann is a Senior Propulsion Engineer at Astrobotic since August 2023, previously serving as a Propulsion Engineer at the US Army Futures Command DEVCOM Armaments Center from September 2020 to August 2023. Prior to that, Monica co-founded Hudson Space Systems, where the roles of CTO and Propulsion Engineer were held until August 2023, along with a position as a Board Member. From April 2018 to January 2020, Monica worked as a Propulsion Engineer and Safety Coordinator at Castle Point Rocketry, and had a brief tenure as a Propulsion Technology Intern at NASA from August to December 2019. Early experience includes a Technical and Analytical Co-Op at Chemetall in 2016. Monica holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, completed in 2020, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, earned in 2019, following a high school education at Immaculate Heart Academy from 2011 to 2015.
