Jessica Sung

Jessica Sung, CPA has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Jessica currently holds the position of Director of Accounting at Astronomer. Prior to this, they served as the Director, Accounting at ESCAPE Bio. In 2021, they worked as the Sr. Manager, Accounting at Outset Medical, Inc., where they streamlined and automated approval workflows and implemented SOD in ERP for SOX compliance.

From 2018 to 2021, Jessica held the role of Sr Manager, Accounting at Zuora, where they were responsible for the close process, financial and SOX audits, and served as the business owner for various software systems. Jessica also managed the Operational Accounting Team.

Before joining Zuora, Jessica worked as the Controller at Tencent America from 2012 to 2018, overseeing all accounting and finance functions for three U.S. entities under Tencent Holdings Inc. Jessica'sresponsibilities included managing portfolios of approximately 75 million.

Jessica started their career at Wei, Wei & Co, LLP as a Staff Auditor in 1999 and later worked as a Senior Accountant at Ladenburg Thalmann. Jessica then joined VF Corporation as an Accounting Manager from 2001 to 2008.

In 2008, Jessica joined WageWorks as the General Ledger Manager, where they implemented financial systems and played a key role in changing and standardizing operational and financial procedures.

Jessica Sung, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting at Baruch College from 1993 to 1998. Jessica also holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant, which they received from the California Board of Accountancy in 2014. Jessica is also a member of AICPA & CalCPA.
