Gerardo Salaverria

Gerardo Salaverria is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive and payments sectors. Currently serving as Growth Manager for Brazil and Latam at AstroPay since January 2023, Gerardo previously held the role of Payment Manager and Operations Manager at the same company, where responsibilities included negotiating partnerships with banks and payment service providers. Gerardo co-founded the Renault Clio Cup Uruguay and founded the Formula Academy Sudamericana, overseeing racing events across Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. As a professional racing driver from 2005 to 2016, Gerardo participated in notable competitions such as SUPER TC2000 and Top Race V6. Gerardo also worked as a television presenter for "1000 x Hora," showcasing motorsport content. Gerardo holds degrees from Universidad ORT Uruguay and Instituto Gato Dumas.
