Madhu Kiran

Madhu Kiran is an experienced professional in computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as Team Lead for Computer Vision at Astroscale since February 2023, focusing on space debris removal and onboard pose estimation for spacecraft. Prior to this role, Madhu conducted research at École de technologie supérieure from January 2017 to September 2023, developing multi-target tracking methods for video surveillance, utilizing advanced technologies such as deep learning and generative adversarial networks. Previous experience includes positions at eInfochips, developing traffic sign recognition modules, AVA Technologies Ltd., working on image processing algorithms, and Visio Ingenii, where multiple object recognition and augmented reality applications were developed. Madhu's career began at Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant Systems Engineer, and academic qualifications include a PhD in Machine Learning from École de technologie supérieure, an MSc in Mechatronics from the University of Staffordshire, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology.
