Paul Fortner

Paul Fortner has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Paul'sfirst job was as Front Office Director at WestCoast Hotels, where they led a staff of 15-25 and maintained all P&L responsibility for the Department's $650k operating budget. In 1999, they moved to GoMicro as a Systems Engineer, where they leveraged their MCSE skillsets to design, implement, and support primarily Microsoft, HP, and Cisco solutions. In 2001, they joined Lionbridge Technologies as Global IT Systems Manager, managing a team of Systems Engineers responsible for maintaining and improving global enterprise services for the group's 20 worldwide locations. In 2005, they became Director of IT & Infrastructure - Safety & Surveillance at Wolters Kluwer Health. Most recently, in 2021, they joined AstrumU as Director of DevSecOps, with the mission of quantifying the return on education investment for learners, education providers, and employers.

Paul Fortner received their MBA in Technology Management from the University of Washington in 2004, and their BA in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University in 1994.
