Gergely Poór

Gergely Poór has a strong background in IT system administration and engineering. Gergely has experience working with various companies and managing their IT systems. In their role as a Service Engineer at Asura Technologies Ltd., Gergely oversees GNU/Linux and Windows systems, as well as Azure AD enabled services and networking. Gergely also provides software and hardware solutions and facilitates testing.

Prior to this, Gergely worked as an IT System Administrator at Abacus Medicine Hungary Kft., where they administered users and services in a hybrid Azure AD environment. Gergely managed corporate devices in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and was an IT-SME for a bespoke GNU/Linux-based serialization system. Gergely led the implementation of a cloud-based automated disaster recovery system and a global IT asset management tool. Gergely also provided in-house servicing and repair for iPhones, laptops, and desktop computers.

Before joining Abacus Medicine Hungary Kft., Gergely held a position as an IT System Administrator at Raben Group. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's IT systems across multiple locations, including servers, network devices, printers, and an on-prem PBX system.

Gergely Poór completed their high school education at BMSZC Trefort Ágoston Két Tanítási Nyelvű Szakgimnáziuma from 2013 to 2018. Gergely obtained a High School Diploma with qualifications in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.

In addition to their high school education, Gergely has obtained various certifications. In 2013, they received a Bilingual Complex B2 Level State Accredited Language Examination Certificate from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2020, they became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. Furthermore, they obtained the Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification from edX in May 2022, and the Python Core certification from Sololearn in November 2022.
