Jimmy Halstead is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in trading technology and infrastructure, currently serving as the Head of Trading Technology at ASX since February 2010. Throughout their career at ASX, Jimmy has held several key positions, including Senior Manager and Architect Trading, where Jimmy played a critical role in the planning, design, and implementation of robust trading platforms for the Australian financial markets. Prior to ASX, Jimmy worked at EDS as a Senior Dealing Room Support Specialist for the Commonwealth Bank and held various technical support roles at reputable companies such as the NSW Department of Education and Training, Hewlett-Packard, IBM Global Services Australia, and Mercantile Mutual Holdings Limited.
