Kristian Benestad

Kristian Benestad is a legal professional with extensive experience in asylum and refugee protection. Currently serving as a Refugee Protection Fellow at the Center for Asylum Protection since December 2018, Kristian also holds the position of Legal Advocate at Asylum Access since August 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Legal Advisor at DEMKIP Science, a biopharma start-up in Copenhagen, from August 2016 to March 2017, and various customer service and sales roles at Covidien and Optimera from 2008 to 2015. Kristian earned a Master’s Degree in Law from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Aarhus University.
