Rainer Frauwallner has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Rainer started their career at AVL in 2012 as a Transmission, Hybrid and Electric Calibration Engineer Trainee. Rainer then worked as a Student Assistant at FH JOANNEUM before joining Inteco special melting technologies GmbH as an Electrical Engineer in 2014. In 2015, they joined AT&S as a Product Realization Engineer, and over the years, they progressed to roles such as Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Teamleader Application Analysis and Test Development, Change-Agent, Manager Product Development Services, and Interim Quality Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Product Development Services at AT&S.

Rainer Frauwallner's education history begins in 2004 when they attended HTBL Kapfenberg and obtained their Reifeprüfung-Certificate and VET Diploma in Electrical Engineering Specialising in Information Technology in 2009. Following this, they attended FH Joanneum from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics and Technology Management. Rainer then continued their education at FH Joanneum from 2012 to 2014 and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Advanced Electronic Engineering.

In 2021, Rainer Frauwallner started attending FH CAMPUS 02 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Unternehmensmanagement. Rainer is expected to complete this program in 2023.

Additionally, Rainer Frauwallner has obtained several certifications. In October 2017, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from successfactory consulting group. In November 2015, they received the Internal/External Process Auditor Automotive certification according to VDA 6.3 from Quality Austria.
