Meara Saloio

Meara Saloio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They have worked as a Captain at various boat clubs, including Sovereign Boat Club, Barton & Gray Mariners Club, and Carriage House. They also served as a Delivery Captain at The Hinckley Company. In addition, Meara has experience as a Director of Operations and Training at At The Helm Training. Prior to their work in the boating industry, they worked as an Advertising Consultant at VineyardStyle and as a Case Manager at Martha's Vineyard Community Services. They also have experience in the healthcare sector, working as a Community Liaison at Brookhaven Hospice and as a Diabetes Sales Specialist at Diabetes at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson.

Meara Saloio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of San Francisco from 1994 to 1997. From 2020 to 2021, they attended Explorer's Guide and acquired a 100 Ton USCG Master Captain degree. Meara also holds additional certifications as a Captain Trainer from the National Safe Boating Council and as a Notary Public from the State of Florida. Additionally, they have a Captain's License from USCG Merchant Marine Captain - Near Coastal.
