Director Of Engineering at AtaCor Medical

Matthew Rollins has over 20 years of work experience in a variety of roles. From 1997 to 2003, they served in the US Army and Army National Guard as an Intelligence Analyst and Security Detail. In 2004, they joined Imaging Technology International as a Mechanical Engineer and used SolidEdge to design mechanical parts and assemblies. Matthew designed a state of the art analysis tool providing precise, repeatable measurements of critical dynamic fluid-jetting parameters for inkjet printheads and inks. In 2007, they joined Cameron Health (later acquired by Boston Scientific) as a Mechanical Engineer, where they coordinated manufacturing, in house resources, and independent test laboratories, completing Design Verification Testing (DVT) and report for class III medical device. Matthew then moved up to R&D Group Lead - Mechanical Engineering, where they performed design analysis, testing, and change implementation for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly. In 2012, they were promoted to R&D Manager - Mechanical Engineering, where they functioned as a technical expert providing analysis and feedback for design, manufacturing process, supplier development, and failure analysis projects. In 2014, they joined Plexus Corp. as a Sr. Staff Design Engineer. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed as the Director Of Engineering at AtaCor Medical, Inc.

Matthew Rollins obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. In March 2014, they received a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Boston Scientific.
