Christina Pham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Christina is currently working at Atara Biotherapeutics as the Director of Preclinical Science since March 2023. Previously, they were the Associate Director of Preclinical Science at the same company from February 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Atara Biotherapeutics, Christina held positions at Precision BioSciences, Inc., where they served as the Team Leader of In Vivo Models from January 2018 to June 2018. Christina also worked as a Research Scientist and Associate Scientist at the same company from 2017 to 2018 and 2015 to 2016, respectively. Prior to their industry experience, Christina pursued their education as a Graduate Student at the University of Florida from 2013 to 2015 and at Duke University from 2009 to 2015. Christina also had early research experience as a QC Analyst at MedImmune in 2009 and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Maryland from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Christina gained valuable research experience as a Summer Intern at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in 2008, Human Genome Sciences in 2007, and the National Human Genome Research Institute in 2006.
Christina Pham earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland in 2008. Christina later pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pathology/Experimental Pathology at Duke University, completing their studies in 2015.
