Jaeyoung Nam

Jaeyoung Nam is a Gas Operations Engineer-in-Training at ATCO Group, having joined the company in February 2021, where responsibilities include managing gas operations. Previously, Jaeyoung held the position of Retail Store Supervisor at Shoppers Drug Mart, successfully enhancing customer engagement and training staff. Jaeyoung served in the US Army from October 2017 to June 2019, first as a Squad Leader and later as a Military Operations Specialist, earning multiple accolades for outstanding performance and facilitating communication between US and Korean soldiers. Earlier experiences include internships at ATCO Group, PCL Construction, and EVRAZ North America, focusing on gas distribution engineering, virtual construction, and lean process improvement, respectively. Jaeyoung holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed in 2020.
