Ken R Anderson Cd1

Ken R Anderson CD1 has a comprehensive work experience in the field of security architecture and consulting. Ken R held the role of Chief Security Architect at ATCO Group since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Cyber Security Consulting at ACKS Advisory Services Inc. from 2010 to present, where they also served as an ICS Scada Consultant. In this role, they were involved in performing threat risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and architecture reviews on energy and distribution management systems for utilities and other professional organizations.

Anderson has also contributed to the International Society of Automation (ISA) as a Contributor since 2002. Ken R worked as a Security Architecture Consultant at both SWC SecureWest Consulting Inc. from 2014 to 2017 and Alstom Grid from 2012 to 2016. Ken R held various roles at ATCO Electric, including Scada Solution Architect and Telecom Solution Architect, from 2013 to 2015. Ken R served as a Scada Consultant at TELUS from 2012 to 2014 and as a Scada Security Architect at GE Intelligent Platforms from 2012 to 2013. Ken R worked as an Enterprise Security Architect at BC Hydro from 2010 to 2011.

Additionally, Anderson held the position of Director (past president) at the Canadian Information Processing Society from 2001 to 2011. Through their extensive work experience, they have gained valuable expertise in security architecture and consulting for a variety of industries.

Ken R Anderson CD1 attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Electronics Engineering. Ken R then continued their education at NAIT from 1982 to 1984, focusing on Telecommunications Engineering Technology and Electronics Engineering Technology.
