Varian Shrum

Varian Shrum is an accomplished community manager with a diverse background in community development, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Community Manager at Camp North End for ATCO Properties and Management since January 2017, Varian focuses on marketing, branding, tenant recruitment, and strategic partnerships while curating events to enhance community life. Previous experience includes a role as Community Development Associate at Charlotte Center City Partners, where Varian led economic development initiatives and secured funding through grant proposals. Additional roles encompass consulting, specialty communications, and engagement across various organizations, including a position as Emerging City Champion for the Knight Foundation. Varian holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in Communication and Religion from Wake Forest University.
