Steven Good

Steve has extensive expertise in drug discovery and development, with over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to joining Atea, Steve served as Senior Vice President, Preclinical Development at Idenix Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for the departments of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, Safety Assessment, Formulations, Chemical Development and Manufacturing, and Project Management. Prior to joining Idenix, Steve was director of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics at AstraZeneca plc and previously spent 26 years at GlaxoSmithKline/GlaxoWellcome/Burroughs Wellcome, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility including director of Discovery Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics for the Metabolic, Musculoskeletal and Viral Diseases Center of Excellence for Drug Discovery.

Steve holds a BS in chemistry and biology from Grinnell College and an MS in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
