Kate Houston has extensive experience in human resources and legal support, currently serving as an HR Advisor at ateb Group since September 2003, having previously held roles as an HR Assistant and Corporate Services Assistant within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Legal Secretary/Accounts Clerk at Dragon Chambers' Solicitors from August 1996 to August 2003. Education includes a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Advice and Guidance from City of Guilds, ongoing studies in Mentoring at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and a Higher National Certificate in Management & Business from the same institution. Early education was completed at Milford Haven Comprehensive School from 1989 to 1994.

ateb is a Housing Association and the parent company to Mill Bay Homes, West Wales Care and Repair and Effective Building Solutions. Our group of companies work across West Wales and have the collective purpose of ‘creating better living solutions’ for the people and communities of West Wales. We currently have over 3000 homes predominantly in Pembrokeshire that we rent on either a social or intermediate rental basis. ateb works closely with its Local Authority and other partners to develop around 150 new homes every year, to meet affordable housing need through a range of tenures such as, for rent, rent to buy or shared ownership. The ateb group consists of around 130 team members and many more partners and suppliers within our wider supply chain. All our activities are governed by our Board and regulated by the Welsh Government.
