Sahil Jalota

Sr. Director, R&d Biologics at ATEC Spine

Sahil Jalota has extensive work experience in the field of biomaterials and research and development. Sahil is currently serving as the Sr. Director of R&D Biologics at Alphatec Spine since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Biomaterials Development and Manufacturing at Ventris Medical from April 2019 to November 2021. Sahil also worked at SeaSpine as a Senior Manager from March 2019 to April 2019, and as an R&D Manager from December 2015 to March 2019. Sahil Jalota gained experience as an R&D Manager at Advanced Biologics from May 2014 to December 2015, and as a Senior Scientist from October 2013 to April 2014. Sahil also served as a Senior Scientist at Skeletal Kinetics from September 2012 to October 2013 and as a Process Scientist from May 2007 to September 2012. Sahil Jalota's career started as a Research Assistant at Clemson University in August 2004, where they worked on various research projects related to bone substitute materials. Before that, they gained initial work experience as an intern at SESA in 2000. Sahil Jalota has published journal articles and conference proceedings related to their research and has presented their work at various professional meetings and conferences.

Sahil Jalota's education history begins with their enrollment at St. John's High School from 1986 to 1996, where they completed their primary and secondary education. After graduating from high school, they attended D.A.V. College from 1996 to 1998. There, they pursued a degree in High School.

In 1998, Sahil began their undergraduate studies at Punjab Engineering College and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Clemson University from 2002 to 2004. During this time, they received a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Sahil's academic journey culminated with their enrollment in a Ph.D. program at Clemson University, where they specialized in Materials Science and Engineering from 2005 to 2007.
