Tanis Smith

Tanis Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tanis started their career as a Research Assistant at UPMC - Epidemiology in 2005 and later worked as an Office Assistant at U. of Pittsburgh-School of Medicine. In 2008, they served as a Medication Delivery Assistant at UPMC Presbyterian - Pharmacy before transitioning to the role of a Neurotechnologist - CNIM Certified at UPMC. Tanis then joined Impulse Monitoring as a Neurophysiologist in 2011 and later moved to NuVasive, where they worked as a Clinical Neurophysiologist and an Associate Product Manager. In 2016, they became the Director of Operations - Mid-Atlantic at Neuropath IONM, overseeing team development, customer relations, and logistics. Tanis'smost recent role is the Sr. Manager of Market Development at Alphatec Spine, where they are responsible for driving market growth. Tanis has a strong background in neurophysiology and market development, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Tanis Smith completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience, Chemistry, and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, attending from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, Tanis obtained a high school diploma from South Western High School. In addition to their formal education, Tanis also obtained a certification in CNIM from ABRET in August 2010.
