Tommy Mellin

Tommy Mellin has a diverse work experience in the field of quality engineering. Tommy started their career at NuVasive in 2010, working as an Associate Quality Engineer before being promoted to Quality Engineer and Senior Quality Engineer. In 2015, they joined Abbott as a New Product Introduction / Supplier Quality Engineer. Tommy then moved to Verb Surgical Inc. in 2017, where they worked as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. Currently, Tommy is employed at Alphatec Spine, where they have held the positions of Senior Manager, Quality Engineering and Director, Quality Engineering since 2018.

Tommy Mellin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of San Diego. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in quality auditing and quality engineering from ASQ in June 2016 and June 2014, respectively.
