Rajan Kumar is the CEO of Ateios. Rajan was previously a doctoral student at UC San Diego, where they researched wearable biosensors for fitness and medical applications. Before that, they were the Vice President of Marketing and Engineering at Glauconix Biosciences, Inc., where they helped develop the company's marketing and business plan. Rajan is also a member of the 2014 New York Business Plan Competition $100K winning team. Rajan has also worked at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, where they led a research team to design, develop, and test a prototype for a cancer biosensor. Rajan has also worked on a chitosan drug delivery project at Stony Brook University.

Rajan Kumar received their PhD in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego. Rajan also has a Master of Engineering in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego and a Nanoscale Science degree from the University at Albany, SUNY. Rajan received their Advanced Regents Diploma from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School.
