Chief Product Officer at Ateme

Damien Lucas is currently the Chief Product Officer at Ateme. Damien has held this position since December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of Anevia from June 2003 to December 2020. During their time at Anevia, Damien developed the product portfolio and built up the NEA product range. Damien also managed the Keepixo acquisition and sold Anevia to Ateme.

From January 2000 to December 2001, Damien was the President of VIA Centrale Réseaux. As President, they were in charge of the ISP of the High School Campus ("Ecole Centrale Paris"). The staff of 10 people ensured 24x7 network availability for about 1200+ student subscribers, with many services. Damien introduced video over IP in 2000.

From September 1999 to December 2005, Damien was on the Original VLC Media Player Team at VideoLAN. Their various roles included DVB input support, subtitling, HD support, AC3 audio support, and DSP based decoding.

Damien Lucas is an engineer with a degree from CentraleSupélec, a top engineering school in France. Damien has experience in general engineering and IT, and has also started their own business.

Damien Lucas reports to Michel Artières, Co-founder, President & CEO. They work with Ray Fitzgerald - VP & GM of North America, Joseph Soueidi - Chief Operations Officer, and Laurent Lafarge - CEO of Anevia.
