Jason Occidental has diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Jason is currently the Founder of Ecogift Davao, a sustainable business aimed at transforming the gifting industry into a more eco-friendly sector. Jason also serves as an Innovation Advisor for a confidential company, conducting research and analysis on the latest innovations and trends.

In addition, Jason has held positions at Ateneo de Davao University, where they served as the Director of Innovation and Technology Support and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering. Jason has also been a Board of Directors member for Engineers Without Borders Philippines and a Board of Advisors member for the UP Mindanao UPGRADE, Technology Business Incubator at the University of the Philippines.

Jason Occidental has a diverse education history. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from Ateneo de Davao University in the years 2009 to 2014. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business and Science in Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. In the same year, they also earned a Mini MBA degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Rutgers Business School. Jason furthered their studies at Rutgers University, completing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Jason holds multiple certifications, including being a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, having completed various online courses, and achieving the Urban and Environmental Planner certification from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission in 2019.
