José María Pérez Melber

José María Pérez Melber is the EMEA Region Director at Atento. José was previously the CEO of Orange España from March 2011 to March 2014, where they were responsible for 35,000 employees and a €35 million budget. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Transcom from March 2004 to February 2011, where they oversaw a €544 million budget and 29,000 employees. José has also held positions at HDI Seguros and MAPFRE.

José María Pérez Melber has a certificate in good governance of companies from the Institute of Company Administrators, a degree in business administration and management from Pontifical University of Salamanca, and a degree in insurance sciences from Pontifical University of Salamanca.

They work with Virginia Beltramini - Chief Legal Officer, Dimitrius Oliveira - President, South America, and Cathrine Jooste - Chief Commercial Officer & North America Regional Director. José María Pérez Melber reports to Carlos López-Abadía, CEO.
