Antony Kelly

Antony Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Antony is currently the Chief Architect and Head of Architecture and Data Engineering at ATG (Auction Technology Group). Prior to this role, they worked as an Architectural Consultant for the same company. Antony also runs their own consulting business called A Kelly Consulting Limited, where they serve as a Director, Architectural Consultant, and Advisor.

Before their current positions, Antony worked as the Chief Architect at Euromonitor International, where they managed a global team of architects and actively participated in problem-solving and solution development. Antony also worked for ATG as a Lead Technical Architect, where they contributed to the architectural roadmap for a rapidly growing global ecommerce marketplace.

Antony's previous experiences include roles such as Software Architect at Intelliflo Ltd, where they developed serverless microservices and explored serverless architectural patterns. Antony also served as a Software Architect and DevOps Lead/Manager at Dolphin Dynamics Limited, where they focused on improving the performance and scalability of a B2B/B2C travel search and booking product. Additionally, Antony worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Sustained Engineering Lead at 1E, where they led a team in resolving customer issues and deploying products in large enterprise companies.

Antony's early career includes roles at PI VISION LIMITED, where they designed and implemented a digital video recording system for various clients, including casinos and police departments. Antony started as a Junior Software Engineer and eventually took on more senior responsibilities during their industrial placement.

Throughout their career, Antony has been involved in various aspects of software architecture, including cloud solutions, microservices, serverless architecture, performance optimization, and team management.

Antony Kelly obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kingston University, from 1997 to 2001.
