Steven Kode

Steven Kode has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Steven is currently working as the Head of Information Security at ATG (Auction Technology Group) since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of IT Security at Kaplan North America from 2016 to 2022, where they were responsible for designing and implementing enterprise security roadmaps and conducting audits. Steven also worked as the Leader of Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering at Dun & Bradstreet from 2015 to 2016, where they developed and implemented infrastructure architecture for datacenters and cloud services.

Before that, Steven held the position of Technology Operations Director at Kaplan from 2006 to 2015, where they oversaw and trained systems engineering and administration teams, delivered operational support for multiple systems, and ensured compliance enforcement. Steven also worked as the Manager of IT Systems Administration at SAIC in 2005, as IT Systems Administration at STARK TECHNOLOGIES, LLC from 2004 to 2005, and as a Server Administrator/IT Technical Support at Sentrx Safety Solutions from 2001 to 2004. Steven started their career as a Desktop Support Team Lead at Analysts International from 1999 to 2001.

Steven Kode has a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Purdue Global, which they obtained between the years 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Certificate in Network Engineering and Data Communications from The Chubb Institute from 1998 to 1999. Steven also attended Rutgers University from 1993 to 1997, majoring in Political Science and Government, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree in this field. In addition to their formal education, Steven Kode holds a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², although it is not specified when they obtained this certification.
