David Krieger

David Krieger has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1993. David began their career as Co-founder and Director of Publications at Agorics, Inc. in 1993. In 1995, they worked as a Programmer (Contractor) at Apple. In 1996, they became Webmaster at Communities.com, where they were the architect and principal developer of multiple web-based Perl+Oracle applications. In 1999, they moved to Kroll-O'Gara Information Security Group (later Securify) as a Senior Security Consultant. In 2000, they worked as a Web Technologist (Contractor) at Compaq Computer Corp. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Software Engineer at iM Networks, where they were responsible for system administration and server engineering. From 2003 to 2008, they were a Software Engineer at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where they were responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting in-house custom production- and workflow-management web applications. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Nest, where they were responsible for graceful, robust deployment of main web site and auxiliary *. nest. com sites. Since 2018, they have been the Infrastructure & Tools Team Lead at Emerald Cloud Lab.

David Krieger received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics and Mathematics from Drake University between 1983 and 1987. David then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a MLS in Information Science.
