The board of directors at Athabasca University has a long history of experience in the education industry. The current vice president, for example, previously worked as a councillor at Athabasca. Other members of the board have experience as knitwear designers and in applied mathematics. This wealth of experience provides the board with a well-rounded understanding of the education industry, allowing them to make informed decisions about the future of Athabasca University.
