Khalida Liaquat

Khalida has been with Quest Diagnostics since 2011. Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics, Khalida served as a clinical prenatal and pediatric genetic counselor at Kings County Hospital Center and Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. At Quest Diagnostics, Khalida specializes in molecular genetic testing at Athena Diagnostics, focusing on the areas of neurology, endocrinology, and nephrology. Her special interests include variant sciences and education.

Khalida earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and her master’s degree in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. She is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 2009 and is a licensed genetic counselor in the state of Massachusetts. Khalida is an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. She is a member of the CureSMA medical advisory committee.
