Helen Chou has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Helen is currently the Director of People and Strategy at Athena Infonomics, a data-driven global consultancy focused on driving innovation in global development. Prior to this, Helen served as the Senior Manager of International Services at the City of Houston Public Library, where they oversaw the implementation of community programs and staff training for inclusive service to international communities. Helen also worked at the Singapore Economic Development Board, where they held roles including Acting Head and Assistant Head of the International Organisations Programme Office, driving government strategies and managing partnerships with non-profit organizations. Helen has experience in the private sector as well, having worked as the Staffing and Professional Development Manager at Oliver Wyman and as a Management Consultant at Texas Instruments. Early in their career, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of the GKHi Singapore Office for the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, focusing on building communities for the impoverished. Helen Chou has a bachelor's degree in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University. Helen also has a master's degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, as well as a master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, specializing in Microfinance, Advanced Policy, and Economic Analysis. Helen Chou also participated in a Study Abroad program at Peking University.
