Jason Aminto

Jason Aminto is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at athenahealth since October 2020, Jason has previously held the position of Lead Software Engineer in DevOps. Prior to athenahealth, Jason played a pivotal role at AVAI Mobile Solutions from July 2010 to October 2020, where responsibilities included Chief Software Architect, designing large-scale custom software solutions primarily on Amazon Web Services utilizing Serverless technologies, as well as serving as Director of Technology to develop a scalable mobile application platform. Earlier in Jason's career at AVAI Ventures from 2002 to 2010, Jason contributed as Integration Services Manager, overseeing a software team for custom control software design, and also held roles such as Systems Integration Programmer and User Interface Developer. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1998 and 2001, and a high school diploma from Haddonfield Memorial High School, completed in 1997.
