Joe Heald

Joe Heald has extensive experience in healthcare technology and management, currently serving as Senior Manager of EDI Services Support at athenahealth since April 2019, focusing on enhancing sustainable healthcare ecosystems. Prior to athenahealth, Joe held the position of EDI Services Manager at Virence Health, where responsibilities included managing technology solutions for healthcare providers. From November 2004 to July 2018, Joe was Manager of EDI Services at GE Healthcare, overseeing EDI solutions deployment and customer satisfaction initiatives. Joe's career also includes roles at IDX Systems Corporation as a Project Lead and Account Manager, and various managerial positions at the American Red Cross, where responsibilities included health and safety program management and product coordination for blood services. Joe holds a degree in Communications and Public Relations from Champlain College.
