Pranay G. is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment risk management and leveraged finance. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Risk Manager at Apollo Global Management and a Senior Asset & Investment Risk Manager at Athene since July 2021, Pranay focuses on fundamental credit analysis, portfolio construction, scenario analysis, and team leadership in the private equity and alternatives investing sectors. Prior to this role, Pranay held positions as Director of Leveraged Finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Director of Leveraged Loan Investments at State Street, where responsibilities included managing significant leveraged loan portfolios and conducting relative value analysis. Pranay began a career at Citi, progressing from Asset Backed Finance to VP of Corporate Banking, where skills in debt structuring, underwriting, and advanced financial analysis were developed, alongside completion of formal credit and leadership training programs. Pranay holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
