Dr. Lionel Wright

Dr. Lionel Wright, Sr. serves as the Chair of GLSCM, AMM & ACM and Associate Professor of Logistics at Athens State University since January 2017, holding roles such as Director of Graduate Programs and Interim Dean of the College of Business. Previously, Dr. Wright functioned as an Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from January 2017 to September 2022. With extensive experience in logistics, Dr. Wright worked as a Logistics Management Specialist/Analyst for the US Army from April 1992 to December 2016, where expertise in supply program evaluation and resolution of complex logistical challenges was demonstrated. Dr. Wright's educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration in Global Supply Chain Management from Walden University, a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, along with an Undergraduate Certificate in Logistics Management from American Military University.
