Wei Wu

Wei Wu, PhD, currently serves as Senior Scientist II at Athira Pharma since February 2022, previously holding the position of Research Scientist III. Prior to this role, Wei Wu was a Research Scientist II at SignalChem Biotech Inc. from May 2020 to August 2021 and a Research Scientist at Cureimmune Therapeutic Inc. between July 2016 and May 2020. Wei Wu's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of British Columbia, where research focused on the cellular mechanisms exploited by Influenza A viruses, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology/Virology obtained from the same institution (2008-2014). Earlier research experience includes roles at Shandong University and The University of British Columbia as a research assistant and teaching assistant.
