Zoe Riccio M.S., CFS has over 10 years of work experience in the food industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Product Development Specialist at Bakery On Main. In 2008, they moved to Whole Foods Market as a Team Member/Local Forager. In 2009, they became a Quality Manager at Chabaso Bakery. In 2010, they were a Catering Manager at Whitsons Culinary Group. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Assistant Food Service Director and Assistant Manager at Whitsons Culinary Group. In 2015, they became a Food Inspector at the CT Department of Consumer Protection. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Quality Manager at Sabatino Truffles, where they managed Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance programs. Zoe also oversaw maintenance and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Systems and facilitated audits. In 2020, they moved to Athletic Brewing Co. as Senior Director Global QA & Compliance and Director Global Quality Assurance & Compliance, and Food Safety and Regulatory Lead.

Zoe Riccio M.S., CFS has an extensive education history. Zoe earned an Associate's degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in 2003-2005, a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2005-2008, and a Master's degree in Food Safety from Michigan State University in 2018-2020. Additionally, they hold certifications from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), Michigan State University, Penn State University, the FDA, Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), and AIB International, Inc. Her certifications include Certified Food Scientist (CFS), Creating a Food Safety Culture, Better Process Control School, Preventive Controls for Human Food Regulators, PCQI- Preventive Controls for Human Food, and Food Defense Coordinator.
