Simon Nathan

Simon Nathan is a seasoned leader in high-performance athletics, currently serving as the High Performance Director for Athletics Canada since September 2017, guiding both Olympic and Paralympic programs. Prior to this role, Simon held the same position at Athletics Australia from March 2013 to October 2016. Previous experience includes serving as the Head of Performance Operations at UK Athletics, where responsibilities included managing the athletics team for the 2012 London Olympic Games and chairing selection committees. Simon's early career at UK Athletics also encompassed various managerial roles, leading up to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Additionally, Simon was the High Performance Manager for the Northern Ireland Athletics Federation and has a background in software engineering from multiple firms. Simon holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Birmingham.
