Filippo Silva

Filippo Silva is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product development and research within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Director of Product and R&D at Athonet since September 2020, Filippo leads initiatives in the development of 4G/5G Core Networks. Prior to this role, Filippo was the Strategy and Technology Manager at Konica Minolta Laboratory Europe, where an innovation team was established to address customer pain points. Filippo’s earlier tenure at Nokia included various managerial positions, focusing on R&D program management, transformation, and software development for wireless transmission products. Starting a career in embedded software development at Siemens Com and ST-Microelectronics, Filippo earned a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
