Edwin van Den Berg

Edwin van den Berg is an experienced ERM Risk Manager currently working at Athora Netherlands since January 2021. Previously, Edwin held the same position at VIVAT from January 2016 to December 2020. Edwin also served as Bestuurder at Pensioenfonds SNS REAAL between May 2015 and November 2019. Prior roles include Insurance Risk Manager at SNS REAAL and Senior Actuary at Achmea, where Edwin worked from 2005 to December 2013. Earlier in Edwin's career, significant roles included Hoofd Actuariaat at Nieuwe Hollandse Lloyd, Non Life Actuary Group Actuarial at Centraal Beheer Achmea, and Non Life Actuary at Amev. Edwin van den Berg earned a degree in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, where studies were completed from 1980 to 1987.
