Sebnem Aykac Omeroglu

SEBNEM AYKAC OMEROGLU is an experienced educator and translator with a diverse background in interpretation and translation. Currently serving as an instructor at Bilkent University since January 2024 and at Atilim University since February 2015, SEBNEM teaches various courses in English Translation and Interpretation as well as Political Science and Public Administration. SEBNEM has a long history as a literary translator with İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları and has offered English language training and technical translation services since 1989. Previous roles include project coordinator for an EU-funded project and translation positions in the defense and infrastructure sectors. SEBNEM holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Ankara University, a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from Atılım University, and an Associate's degree in Public Relations and Publicity from Anadolu University.
