Ashley Turner

Ashley Turner is an experienced attorney specializing in special education law, currently representing school districts and county offices of education at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo since October 2015. With a solid foundation from previous roles, including Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and Legal Intern at the Special Education Advocacy & Law Firm of Thomas S. Nelson, Ashley has developed expertise in interpreting the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from California Western School of Law and a B.A. in Social Science with a focus on African American Studies from UC Irvine.
