Andy Bowering Ceng

Andy Bowering CEng is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a robust background in the nuclear and subsea engineering sectors. Currently, Bowering works at AtkinsRéalis in the Reactor Operations and Decommissioning team, having previously held senior roles at Rolls-Royce SMR focused on Small Modular Reactor design, and at Atkins in the Nuclear & Power Design & Analysis team. Bowering's career includes significant contributions to the UK Atomic Energy Authority's JET Repurposing Project, leadership in subsea control systems at Baker Hughes and GE Oil & Gas, and engineering roles at Babcock International Group where Bowering worked on submarine systems. Early career experiences include engineering positions at Weir Strachan & Henshaw and assistant roles in site engineering. Bowering holds an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter.
