Frederique Deniger

Frederique Deniger, CPA CIA, CFE has extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, and finance. Frederique is currently serving as the Vice President Internal Audit at AtkinsRéalis. Prior to this, they held the same position at TC Transcontinental from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2019, Frederique was the Director of Risk Management and Internal Audit at Alimentation Couche-Tard. Frederique also worked at CST Brands, Inc. as the Controller of Internal Audit from 2016 to 2017 and as the Director of Internal Audit from 2013 to 2015. Frederique began their career at Saputo Inc., where they served as the Manager of Internal Audit from 2008 to 2013 and as a Senior Internal Auditor from 2003 to 2008. Frederique started their professional journey as a Vérificateur at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from 2000 to 2003.

Frederique Deniger, CPA CIA, CFE has a diverse education history. In 2002, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy from the Université de Sherbrooke, with a focus on Accounting. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they pursued their DESSCP et BAA from HEC Montréal, specializing in Accounting. Frederique's education also includes a Diplôme d'études collégiales in Social Sciences from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, which they completed from 1995 to 1997. In addition to their educational achievements, Frederique has obtained several certifications over the years. Frederique earned the CPA designation from CPA Canada in 2002. In 2016, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor certification from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors. Most recently, in 2021, Frederique became a Certified Financial Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
