Tyn van Amelsfoort

Tyn van Amelsfoort has extensive experience in security and logistics. Tyn currently works as the Regional Security Director Asia Pacific at AtkinsRéalis, where they focus on identifying and mitigating security risks and implementing security strategies. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Regional Vice President Region 14 at ASIS International. Tyn also held the position of Regional Security Manager Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, where they oversaw security, crisis management, and travel risk management. Additionally, they were a Board Member at TAPA Asia Pacific and TAPA EMEA, with responsibilities for training, incident information systems, and standards committees. Tyn has also worked at Panalpina, TNT Express, McLarens Young International, and Acer, gaining experience in various security and logistics roles.

Tyn van Amelsfoort's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences, obtained from 1998 to 2004. In 2023, Tyn completed a Google Cyber Security Certificate from Coursera, specializing in Cyber Security. Tyn also has a background in various security-related trainings, including Facility Security Requirements (FSR) and Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) standards from Transported Asset Protection Association, ISO 28000 Awareness Training from SGS Hong Kong, Air Cargo Security from ICAO Cargo Security Course, and Executive Protection from TNT Express Corporate Security. In addition, Tyn completed an Intensive Mandarin course from Chinese Culture University in 2010.
