Betty Johnson

Betty Johnson is the current Director at Atkore International. Betty has held this position since October 2014. Prior to that, they were the CFO and VP of Global Finance at Sloan Valve Company from April 2009 to October 2014. During their time at Sloan Valve Company, Betty was instrumental in developing and executing the company's strategic plans. This included managing the banking and insurance relationships, financial analysis, acquisition activities, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, taxes and payroll functions. Betty successfully transformed the finance team to support the analytical and strategic needs of the business. Betty also designed and implemented numerous metrics and reports to provide actual, budgeted and forecasted financial data throughout the operation. In addition, Betty implemented a new corporate structure to provide family ownership with significant tax advantaged results including the creation of LLC and IC-Disc. Betty also renegotiated the credit facility to support the new environment. During their time at Sloan Valve Company, Betty successfully managed the financial modeling, adjusted the strategic plans and addressed banking, insurance and audit requirements during unique business conditions for the Michigan facility.

Betty Johnson has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. Betty majored in accounting and now works as an accountant for a small business.
