Kevin Burke has a diverse work experience in the field of landscape architecture. Kevin is currently the Director of Design at Atlanta BeltLine since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Design at Atlanta BeltLine Inc from July 2019. Kevin also served as a GAASLA Trustee at the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects from October 2017 to August 2018. In 2012, they were the Chapter President at GAASLA. Kevin's earlier roles include being a Principal Landscape Architect at Atlanta Beltline Inc in 2009, Owner at Collaborative Designs Inc from 2004 to 2008, and Sr. LA at CA/T from 2004 to 2008. Kevin started their career as a Sr. LA at CRJA in 1994 and as a Landscape Architect at Innocenti & Webel from 1982 to 1990.
Kevin Burke attended Utah State University from 1978 to 1982, where they studied Landscape Architecture. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree during this time.

Atlanta BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment and mobility projects currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) is the entity tasked with planning and executing the implementation of the Atlanta BeltLine in partnership with other public and private organizations, including City of Atlanta departments.
