Rashida Williamson, MPA, serves as the Community Engagement Manager at Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. since December 2020, where responsibilities include implementing the Atlanta BeltLine vision. Concurrently, Rashida acts as Internal Vice President and Board Member at the Georgia Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce, advancing business growth and community engagement. In June 2020, Rashida became the Chief Executive Officer of New Freedom School, Inc., focusing on educating the African American community about political rights and combating voter suppression. Rashida's involvement with community initiatives extends to the Miss HBCU Teen Pageant and serving on the advisory board for the Miss Black International Ambassador program. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University, and currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Organizations at the University of Dayton.

Atlanta BeltLine

The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment and mobility projects currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) is the entity tasked with planning and executing the implementation of the Atlanta BeltLine in partnership with other public and private organizations, including City of Atlanta departments.
