Ruben Brooks came to ABI from the Regional Center Director for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Multifamily Housing where he led the South East Region in making large-scale commercial real estate investment and asset management decisions. Prior to HUD, he spent over nineteen years at Fannie Mae in a variety of leadership positions including Director of Multifamily Affordable Housing. A native of Baltimore, Brooks received a B.S. in Management from Morgan State University, an MPA. from the University of Baltimore, and an M.S. in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. He sits on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Georgia and is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2015.
