Dietmar Exler is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Falcons. Dietmar has over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, and financial services.

Exler began their career in 1997 as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Dietmar left McKinsey in 2002 to join DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, where they held various positions including Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Customer Services. In 2010, they joined Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA as Vice President, and in 2014 they were promoted to Vice President of Sales at Mercedes-Benz USA.

In December 2015, Exler joined the Atlanta Falcons as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the team's business operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and stadium operations. Exler has helped lead the Falcons to unprecedented success, including a Super Bowl appearance in 2017.

Dr. Dietmar Exler is a lawyer who earned their Doctor of Laws degree from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Dietmar also has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
